Yesterday, together with Prof. Gerhard Kirchmair, I had the pleasure of speaking at the Pint of Science event in Innsbruck. We had a great time discussing the unique features of quantum mechanics and how they can be used to develop quantum technologies such as the quantum internet. The quantum internet has the potential to revolutionize communication by ensuring ultimate security and offers exciting prospects for connecting future quantum computers or building more precise clocks based on quantum entanglement.
The event was a huge success, and it was great to see such an engaged audience. I enjoyed socializing, exchanging knowledge and, of course, some beer. I hope this event will motivate people to learn more about the fascinating world of quantum physics!
