We demonstrate for the first time coherent microwave control of NV center spins inside our Paul trap. Here, the NV center spin ensemble is hosted within a CVD-grown clamped diamond.
For this achievement we have developed and implemented an in-vacuum microwave feed design that allows for strong microwave field strengths at the trap center, without limiting optical access.
